The Power Side of Yoga

Yoga is not just into a Zen vibe. It has its rock n' roll side, and can enhance the strengthening of your muscles, leaving you with super defined curves.

Regular Yoga practice creates mental clarity and calm; increases body awareness; relieves chronic stress patterns; relaxes the mind; focuses attention; and increases concentration. Those who practice according to the spiritual foundations of Yoga, say that its practice can bring much more than well being and mental health. This, many of us, may already know.

But there is a modality that, in addition to all this, will help you get real toned up, even helping you burn the so unwanted fat. It's the POWER YOGA.

Created by an Ashtanga-Yoga teacher, Beryl Birch Bendere, Power Yoga is quite challenging. Practiced in a heated room (to make you burn baby burn), it works with changing positions (asanas) in a very dynamic way, and with a good degree of rigor.
